Generation “Y” Snubs Corporate America

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

Stories of young Entrepreneurs striking it big are everywhere. From USA Today, to Inc.com and Entrepreneur Magazine, the trend is noticeable. Major publications love comparing Generation Y with their predecesors. Particularly, the babyboomer generation.

Every analyst seems to have their own take on the phenomenon. This totally goes to show that more and more people are not wanting to work in the 9 to 5 environment and the technology is just enabling this shift towards a more flexible lifestyle. It would be interesting to know how many of our parents would have chosen to opt out of the rat race if it hadn’t meant starting a physical business rather than a virtual one, as is so easy today.
Great site Jose – I’ll be back.
