But for example if you are in say the Ostrich egg industry and you know all of your competitors, then take a look at their site.  How often are they posting? Do they have a blog?  You want to keep up with your industry, is what I am getting at.  But you also want to say something usefull and interesting.  Nobody wants to read about stuff that they already know or what you did that day.  Well actually scratch that there is that site called twitter.  Some people do some weird stuff.

So bottom line here is that you need to update your site often and more often then your competition.  But your content has to be envoking and you want it to rank for something that you do.  I seem to post every 2 days.  But that is because I don't have a life.  So please send me a comment and tell me your thoughts on the subject.  I love to learn from people.
